The cultivation of a flourishing British Muslim identity is one of the most pressing challenges facing our community today. Islam is a complete way of life governing every aspect of human behaviour. Additionally, as an Arabrahmic faith and shares similar moral code of devotion to God (Allah) and mercy and compassion to creation. One of the biggest degradations in the modern day, is what it means to be human. The exemplary human beings were the Prophets of Allah from Adam, Ibrahim, Musa (Moses), Isa (Jesus) and Muhammad (may the blessings of Allah be upon him and all the Prophets). The Prophets showed us how to perfect our character through devotion to Allah. This in turn makes us better individuals able to fulfil all our roles and responsibilities in life with probity, uprightness and rectitude. Such individuals are able to benefit society through the demonstration of compassion, responsibility and co-operation with others of faith and no faith, striving to make the world a better place for all. Islam is a faith for the worldly and spiritual realm and nourishes both the body and the soul. It is only by following in the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) example that we can attain to our true Adamic nature and calling, which is our purpose for existing on earth.
We will be working togehter to ultimatly purchasing a buiting within the Sefton borough for a Masjid.
